They never returned my written request for contact/estimate for work (completed in-person and submitted at their Fort Washington location). As a perspective customer I can say their lack of response may have cost them my business. UPDATE: Denison staff reviewed my comment and actively attempted to contact me through Yelp/via phone which is outstanding as far as customer service goes and is much appreciated. Hopefully, we can work together to create my dream outdoor space. So I'm updating them to 5-stars for their prompt response (I can only assume that I must've fallen through the cracks first time out). Thanks guys.

My husband and I have called multiple times over the last few months to get someone out to get an estimate. We have even submitted requests on their website however, no project manager has ever followed up to schedule an estimate. It's unfortunate and unacceptable that they are simply not following up on inquiries.

They are completely unreliable. I called for an estimate for removing shrubs and scheduled an appointment. They cancelled the day before and I couldn't get ahold of them to reschedule. When I was finally able to rescheduled, they said that they would come by and call me with an estimate because I didn't really need to be there for it. They never called me back. I also put in a request on their website a while ago for other work and have not heard from them on that either. I can't imagine what it would be like to deal with these people if something went wrong.

I previously wrote a not so glaring review and realized that my emotions got the best of me due to lack of understanding on my behalf. Denison Landscaping and Nursery is a great company. They are patient, understanding, and will make every attempt to ensure you receive the very best customer service. De De in irrigation provides the very best customer service.

Karin was our project manager who came out to our home on time and with ideas for our coastal themed crib. We really wanted some coastal grasses that would be low maintenance for us (non-gardening folk). We get so many compliments on the selections that she made. I am more than, pleased. I was disappointed that the Pink Muhly Gasses were not in bloom, but we did get signs of pink in late Septemeber after a few weeks of watering and extra care.

I appreciated the time and effort the design and installation team put into my yard. They worked with me and recommended the right time to plant. They didn't rush for a sale, they wanted to meet my expectations. They also continue to answer questions about care and have returned to evaluate their work. Diane was our designer and she is very personable and knowledgeable. She is also quick to return calls and email. Very professional.

Landscaping Tips

Though your home is your castle, there is no necessity to surround it with a moat. Here are 5 tips that will help you to make your landscaping feel more warm, welcoming and cozy.

1. Put some flowers nearby your entrance. Flowers make any area look more welcoming and attractive, so greeting your guests with Petunia, Snapdragon, Lily-of-the-Nile or some other garden flowers is always a great thing to do. What is more, to add some space between your house and the entrance, you can consider adding a little white fence. It will create an illusion that your front yard is bigger than it actually is. What is more, adding fence will create a great space for planting flowers to add some color and coziness.

2. Add rambling vines to make your yard look absolutely lovely. You can not deny that rambling vines always create romantic and even magical atmosphere. So why not to use this tip while decorating your yard?

3. To hide the unattractive driveway, consider adding some color, texture, and height. You can easily do it by adding various sorts of flowers. To start, create an island of green lawn right in the hub of a drive. Then add a couple of low boxwood hedges with flowers toward the back of your island.

4. If you want your yard to blossom and flourish bust still do not have enough time to maintain it, consider planting low-fuss lilies. Such flowers look absolutely gorgeous and come in the variety of rainbow hues, so you can pick the one you love most. What is more, low-fuss lilies do not care about the sort of soil, they love the sun and welcome hot, they do not afraid of drought. In other words, Crinums is an ideal flower for all those who are looking for low-maintenance solutions.

5. The last tip also touches the low-maintenance aspect. To make your life easier, group plantings into beds and islands. This will help you to avoid mowing and trimming around each individual plant, save a lot of time and even money.
